Sean Billings
Sean Billings was born on planet earth were he currently resides part-time. He attended college at Cal State University of Fullerton and has studied trumpet with Wayne Bergeron, David Washburn, Mark Garrabrant, Karen Tkazik and improvisation with Paul Carmen and Joey Sellers. Today Sean is busy performing with Liparis Nervosa, Bayalo’, The Green Machine, Arik Marshall, Adonis Puentes and the Brian Setzer Orchestra. When the stars are aligned correctly, he has the pleasure of subbing in groups such as Joey Sellers’ Jazz Aggregation, Jose Rizo’s Jazz on the Latin Side All-Stars, The Disneyland Band, Golden State Pops Orchestra and a bunch of big bands. Past projects include performing with Celia Cruz, Andy Montañes, Danny Lozada, Macy Gray, Herbie Hancock, James Moody, Frank Foster, Jane Ira Bloom, Clint Eastwood, Baja California Chamber Orchestra, South Coast Symphony, Orange County Symphony, Joan Sebastian, Natural Afrodisiac, Blast! and the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps. Sean is also the featured trumpet soloist for the upcoming Sony Online Entertainment release, “Pirates of a Burning Sea”. In his never present free-time, Sean likes to read, explore, listen to intelligent music, watch movies, complain about the Lakers, compose a bit, and practice mind control on unsuspecting souls….as his is doing now on you dear reader.
